Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC)
Colorado Concern is a convening organization of Executives Partnering to Invest in Children (EPIC), a group of business leaders who believe early childhood development is a top public policy priority for the state. Colorado Concern members Greg Anton, Brad Busse, and Pat Hamill sit on EPIC's CEO Roundtable, Colorado Concern member Christine Benero is a member of EPIC's Executive Committee, and Colorado Concern executive director Janice Sinden is a member of EPIC's Executive Committee. EPIC advocates for quality investments in Colorado's children from birth to age eight.
Travis manages the daily operations of EPIC and works with convening organizations to recruit, educate, and engage a sustainable network of business executives to advocate for early childhood policies that support children to become successful adults.
In 2009, Travis received a master's degree in Political Science-Constitutional Law Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a 2006 graduate of the University of Colorado-Denver with a bachelor's degree in political science. He grew up in Castle Rock, Colorado.
Before joining EPIC, Travis worked as the Member Relations and Project Coordinator at Colorado Concern from February of 2009 to early 2010, and as assistant to Speaker of the House Andrew Romanoff, at the Colorado General Assembly. Prior to this, he spent several years in the real estate industry.
