Walt Imhoff


Walter F. Imhoff is the retired Managing Director of Stifel, Nicolaus, Hanifen, Imhoff Division, an investment banking and financial services firm. Hanifen, Imhoff was one of the largest investment banking organizations in the Rocky Mountain area, prior to its merger with Stifel, Nicolaus in January, 2000.

Mr. Imhoff started his business career in 1955 with Coughlin and Company, serving as an assistant vice president. In 1960, he joined Edward A. Hanifen and Norbert J. Samford to establish the firm of Hanifen, Imhoff & Samford, Inc. The firm's name was changed to Hanifen, Imhoff Inc. in 1980. In January 2000, Hanifen, Imhoff merged with Stifel, Nicolaus headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Imhoff and his recently deceased wife, Georgia, are parents of five children.
