  • Involvement with legislative advocacy for an improved business climate. Colorado Concern works with three public policy firms and a coalition of effective business organizations to ensure its members' voices are heard at the state and federal level. Colorado Concern's general counsel also closely monitors ballot issue filings and other legal action to ensure Colorado's economic well-being is preserved.
  • Involvement in the political process through:
    • Testifying on issues that may impact the member's industry or business.
    • Lending expertise to political leaders on issues critical to their corporate goals and community growth and development.
    • Developing relationships with elected officials who share commonalities, including but not limited to demographic and regional perspective, committee assignments that directly impact member's industry and/or interests, and political affiliation.
    • Participating in Colorado Concern political events, including an annual luncheon with the governor, monthly meetings with state legislative leaders while the General Assembly is in session and annual meetings with Colorado's US senators.
  • Participation in networking and VIP events to develop valuable relationships among key business leaders.
  • Networking with other Colorado Concern members through monthly lunches and a variety of annual events. Members also receive an annualmembership directory to help members stay connected.
  • Receipt of pertinent communications including periodic news clips gathered from sources statewide, breaking news, legislative tracking reports, and an annual report of Colorado Concern's achievements and areas for future focus.
  • Participation in annual survey to determine specific needs, concerns and priorities in order to ensure Colorado Concern's annual legislative agenda and business plan remain relevant.
