Anneliese Steel is the Corporate Affairs Director for Colorado Concern. Her goal is to engage members as we realize our policy objectives in the near and far term. She also oversees marketing and communications efforts.
Prior to joining the team, Anneliese spent nearly a decade in the Outdoor Industry. She most recently served as the Corporate Partnerships Manager for Access Fund, a nonprofit working to keep climbing areas open and conserved across the country. While at Access Fund, she worked with business leaders to maximize their philanthropic contributions and engage in relevant advocacy campaigns. Anneliese has also worked with the Colorado Outward Bound School and several NGOs focused on environmental preservation and international agricultural development. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Boulder Climbing Community.
An avid rock climber, trail runner, and hiker Anneliese is dedicated to preserving the Colorado way of life while ensuring this state remains a great place to do business. She has a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor of Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. She has lived in Colorado since 2009.
